1. the town folks' use of the language shines a light on their prejudice by them using the N-word constantly to address the people of color. Atticus tries to educate the children that there are better ways of addressing them although he doesn't tell them directly.
2. Tom Robinson is one who is being stereotyped because of his race. Most things negative back then were associated with people of colour and were held against them. Tom in his regular life was not bad in the slightest but he never got to prove it because he is dead.
3.Tom Robinson is the same as Carl Lee in the way that they both were imprisoned. the time period is very similar in both the movie and novel. there were groups that hated black people and the families of the people trying to help the black peoples cases, and they only hate them because of their skin. the groups were the KKK in the movie and just an angry mob of white people in the novel.
4. Harper Lee chose the dialect of a southerner to dictate the words of the characters in the novel. the way they talked in the south is definitely how the Harper Lee wrote the book.
